ALLOW ME TO INTRODUCE MYSELF

Shauna Clark, owner, Ess Factor Solutions

I’m Shauna!

Ess Factor is a play

on words and represents

the results of the correct formula being applied, as calculated in professions such as mathematics, chemistry, creative writing, and racing.

It’s true my resume resembles a pinball machine.

The good news: I have a broad understanding of several specialties, knowledge relating to a mounting list of software programs, AND the ability to effortlessly come up with small talk. I continuously discover new talents, strengths, and preferences as a by-product.

I’m not a racecar driver or a chemist. And you DO NOT want me calculating math. Fortunately, I know a thing or two about creative writing, it’s how I passed most of my college classes – including the essay that was so exemplary it was nominated for my university’s annual publication.

My creative path began over 25 years ago, expectant with my second child. I was hired to coordinate proposals at a financial institution on a team of writers and designers. My previous positions had been administrative in nature. I quickly requested to occupy the entry-level graphic design position which had became available. A grown up artist was born and my basic graphic design skills were acquired through corporate training and on the job experience.

An 8-week continuing education class on basic photography (using a borrowed camera) and a $99 portrait photography class on my own time and I was now responsible for all corporate headshots and events. After a surprise layoff, I gained valuable experience in social media while writing a blog and handling social media for the nonprofit organizations I volunteered for. Eventually, I began managing webinars, industry conference material designs, email marketing, and website management.

Somewhere in between, I earned my bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City as a non-traditional student, attending night classes year-round to achieve this noteworthy distinction.

I live my life surrounded by a climate of magnified senses. Explanation: words have colors, colors have emotions, sounds have added frequency, touch and texture are essential and taste is selective. Being a sensory person means that processing thoughts involves an advanced amount of intensity. Maturity and the collection of experiences help to apply creativity. Consequently, I have a natural ability to visualize possibilities. Let’s call them Ess Factor Solutions!

Little-known facts: the obscure mysterious album on my mobile phone gallery mainly consists of the interiors of coffee shops. And I'm proud to say that I have several stamps on my passport.
